Room acoustics (insulation)

This module involves procurement and installation of sound absorbing materials with the purpose of preventing sound from bouncing around while insulating the entire room to prevent outside noise for traveling in, and inside noise for traveling out of the room. Acoustic insulation should not be confused with acoustic treatment where the sole purpose of acoustic treatment is not to completely absorb and deaden the sound as much as possible, but rather to avoid parallel bouncing and create a natural sounding room for improved recording purposes.
